Shields are equippable items that give stats and change the visual appearance of the character. They are split between 3 types:
- Basic, that can be crafted at the Gear Forge;
- Ultimate, that can be crafted at the Ultimate Forge;
- Uncraftable, that can be obtained from other sources.
Rarity
- Every gear may either have Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary rarity.
- Rarity above common gives a boost to each non-zero stat by +3, +6, and +9 respectively.
- Every ultimate gear retains the rarity of the basic one.
Gear Mods
- Each gear can have up to 3 gear mods.
- Each modification can be stacked up to 5 times.
- Every ultimate gear retains the gear mod of the basic one.
Level
- Every gear gains experience at the the Gear Chalice in planets' towns.
- Upon leveling up, the gear gains its base stats, up to level 10.
- Upgrading to ultimate will reset gear level to 1.
